Trail build evening – Fri Aug 8th, 5-8pm

Our next trail building session is Friday August 18th, 5 – 8 pm. You don’t need to commit to the full 3-hour session: join us when you can, for as long as you can.
We will be working on “The Ledge”, moving rocks, digging dirt, and pushing forward with grubbing. The Ledge is a key connector on West Pine Trail between the open barrens and the forest and ponds below. And it’s really cool.
Meet at the small park on Norawarren Drive near Herring Cove (map). Look for the mailboxes on the right. Please bring water and work gloves. If you arrive late just follow the yellow flagged trail from the Norawarren Park. It’s a pleasant 10-minute walk along some of our finished trail!

MRWA August meeting – Tuesday Aug 22, 7pm

The August meeting of the McIntosh Run Watershed Association has been pushed to August 22. It will begin at 7pm at the Captain William Spry Centre. We’ll have exciting updates from the Singletrack Trail project. Hope to see you there!
