Trail building schedule

The next few weeks of trail building follow the Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday schedule with a few exceptions. Build days are as follows:

Thursday, Nov 24
Saturday, Nov 26
Sunday, Nov 27 (A HIKE/SURVEY DAY. NOT BUILD)*
Thursday, Dec 1
Saturday, Dec 3
Sunday, Dec 4
We meet on Norawarren Drive each build day at 8:30am and work until around 12:30. Come for as much or as little as you are able. Cancelations will be sent out via email and posted to the MRWA Facebook page. RSVP to mrwa.volunteers@gmail.com

*Saturday Nov 27th will be a hike through day. Volunteers and those interested in checking it out will hike the trail alignment from Herring Cove to Governor’s Brook. The hike will be 3-4 hours and cover the entire route that will connect Flat lake to Herring Cove by single track trail. Couple of kilometres will be easy bushwhacking. We will cross the river at the location where the bridge will eventually be built. It is currently a stepping stone crossing with the potential for wet feet.
