Trail work day Wed Oct 18th, 3-6pm

Join us to continue building “Osprey”, a new singletrack trail in the Fight Trail area of the McIntosh Run Trail System. Our next work session is Wednesday 3:00 – 6:30.
Meet at the cul-de-sac at the end of Alabaster Way in the Governor’s Brook subdivision in Spryfield (access from Drysdale Road). You don’t need to commit to the full session – join us when you can for as long as you can. If you arrive late, follow the BLUE flags to find us. Note there are two new trails starting from the cul-de-sac. Take the one on the right with the “Trail Under Construction” sign. We’re down near the end of it so expect a 10-minute walk in.
Bring sturdy shoes, work gloves and water. All are welcome, no experience needed!
A grant from MEC has allowed us to hire TrailFlow Outdoor Adventures to assist with the construction of this trail, but we need volunteers to stretch the contract funds as far as possible. Thanks MEC and thanks volunteers!
This trail is part of the McIntosh Run Trail System, an approved network of singletrack trails for non-motorized recreation on public land between Spryfield and Herring Cove.
