Support recreational trails in Halifax!

Do you enjoy hiking, biking, running and snowshoeing on trails? Do you want more recreational trails in Halifax? Contact your Councillor to express the importance of trails in your life, and that you want Halifax to put money into recreational trails!

A coalition of community groups, including MRWA, has been working with HRM Parks and Recreation to establish funding for community-led trail building initiatives that would deliver cost-effective recreational trails in many communities. However, the proposed budget for 2019-2020 includes NOTHING to support these projects! Council will be considering the proposed budget on Tuesday December 4th, so it it is critical that you contact your Councillor today!
