Join The Hopping Penguins at the Trail Party! to support expansion of the McIntosh Run trails — the sustainable network developed by MRWA (McIntosh Run Watershed Association), the community group that’s the voice for the McIntosh Run, its tributary waters and the land within its watershed.
Single-track trails for wilderness experiences, a multi-use Community Trail, ecological stewardship projects, habitat restoration and preservation are all part of MRWA’s 25-year record.

All proceeds from this event support the McIntosh Run Trails in Spryfield NS. The McIntosh Run Trails are a network of singletrack trails for non-motorised use ideal for hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing. The trails give the public access to and views of the beautiful McIntosh Run River, diverse wetlands, granite bedrock outcrops, and unique Jack Pine barrens. The trails are being developed by the McIntosh Run Watershed Association (MRWA). MRWA is a non profit community organisation dedicated to fostering environmental stewardship and creating public access to the McIntosh Run River and surrounding watershed in Spryfield NS.
